What is a user?
The term 'user' refers to any person who opens an account with us at SafeBeyond. The user creates the digital content to be left for the trustees and heirs.

What is an 'Heir'?
An 'Heir', in the case of SafeBeyond, is any individual who inherits information left for them by the user. The heir will act as the recipient of the designated digital safe, created by the SafeBeyond user. An heir will not be able to access any digital information left for them by the user until specified triggers are met. This includes letters, documents, video files, audio files, pictures, account access permissions, and/or any other digital document that does not require legal approval.

Who is a trustee?
A SafeBeyond trustee is a person appointed by the user. The trustee must accept the responsibility for any user within the system.

What are "digital assets"?
Digital assets are any, and all of the intangible assets, and digital material uploaded by the user to the system, including without limitation, written messages, pictures, videos, digital books, articles, music files, blogs, account access information such as: internet accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), e-mail accounts, file storage accounts (Drop Box, Apple Cloud, Google Drive, etc.), smartphone access permissions, and more.
